Silent Auction Rules
- Items to be entered into auction must be in place by 7:00pm. Doors will open at 6:00pm.
- Auction will close at 8:30pm.
- 10% of sale price is to be paid to the St. Louis Woodworking Guild (SLWG).
- If an item does not sell, 10% of the starting bid price will be paid to the SLWG. (If an item is a guild donation this does not apply)
- The seller must remove all unsold items.
- All auction items must be related to woodworking.
- No reserves may be set on auction items. The starting bid is the minimum bid for which the item can be sold.
- All bidding must be in $1.00 multiples.
- SLWG reserves the right to limit the number of auction items.
- The majority of auction items are (expected to be) used. The condition of items is as represented by the seller, and are sold “as is”. SLWG is not responsible for defects, hidden or otherwise.
- Large items (such as table saws etc.) should be left in your vehicle. A photo should be made available to stand in for the actual auction item. If one person can carry it, it should be okay.
