The Cupples House located on the campus of St. Louis University was built by architect Thomas Annan in 1888 for St. Louis lumber entrepreneur Samuel Cupples. Its 42 rooms contain elaborate architectural details in many varieties of wood. Cupples' collection of wood furniture has fine examples of carving and inlay. |
