On the dock, ready to go.

The following woods are used in the canoe: main hull and deck are 3/16” X ¾” Northern White Cedar from Maine; the back rests, out wale Rub Edge and the deck coaming are white oak. The in wale, the out wale and the scupper spacer blocks are white spruce.
The inside
and outside of the canoe is covered with fiber glass cloth and finished with 4
coats of epoxy
[Epoxy Head purchased with SLWG’s discount] and 3 coats of Z-Spar Marine
Varnish.
